First DORON product on this PC? The installer is signed with DORON Tech Solutions' own certificate. Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time: click More info, check the publisher reads DORON Tech Solutions, then Run anyway. The installer then trusts DORON's certificate, so updates install without the warning.

Before you install

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • The PC where TallyPrime runs (or one that reaches your Tally on Cloud server)
  • Internet access to your Odoo site

  • XML server on: Help (F1) > Settings > Connectivity, TallyPrime acts as Server, port 9000
  • A company with books beginning on or before your sync start date
  • VAT on (UAE edition), and inventory and cost centres switched on as you need them (F11); Integrate accounts with inventory set to No

Odoo

  • Odoo 16 or later: Odoo Online on the Custom plan (the plan that opens Odoo's API), Odoo.sh or your own server
  • A dedicated read-only user and its API key (the user's avatar > My Preferences > Account Security > New API Key)
